Since the beginning of Na Bolom, Trudy offered Tours to the Lacandon jungle as a source of income to continue renovating the house and to support her various projects. Today we have a well-developed sustainable tour program aimed at giving our guests and visitors the opportunity to travel in small groups to the many beautiful locations we have in the near vicinity.

The Tours we offer are tours with a difference. We aim to provide Tours , which cause minimal cultural and environmental impact. Small groups, well maintained vehicles, which pollute as little as possible, qualified guides, safety, we pay a decent living wage to our employees as well as the local guides who offer their services. When visiting the Lacandon communities we take with us the name of Na Bolom and our 50 years of friendship with these communities. In these communities we use the local people as guides in this way supporting the local economy and offering the tourists the opportunity to get closer to the local people.

Our speciality Tour is a 5 day adventure into the least visited Lacandon community; Naja. Here we use the Camp area constructed by the local people as a gift for Trudy. Na Bolom provides: tents, sleeping mats, food, shelter and water. You just need a sleeping bag or blanket. We will be happy to indicate where you can buy this cheaply if you do not have one with you. For those people who do not like t camp there are also some cabins close to the camp area where yo can sleep in a bed and still enjoy the home cooked food of Doña Bety.
